Noah from Google
Thank you all for your patience while our home is being modified a bit more than we expected. The work is not yet done but we are moving along. Too much commotion prevents me from focusing on the writing, but today I am determined to write this post.
Matthew 24:36 “But about that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. 37 For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. 38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be. (NASB)
In verse 36 above Jesus made it clear that the Rapture is one unique event the timing of which no one has nor will have foreknowledge. No human or angel . . . not even the Son of God Himself knew while on Earth when He would return to “snatch” us away. Only God the Father knew when and He wasn’t going to divulge this information.
While on Earth Jesus was not privy to this information, there is every possibility that now in Heaven He does know.
Satan reads the same Bible we do, there is no other. He knows his time is short, and he knows the end of the book, He knows he loses and that his end is in the Lake of Fire where he and his cohorts will be forever and ever. His hatred for God is so intense that because he knows his own end he works hard to take down as many of God’s beloved humankind as he can with him. Misery does love company.
Knowing his time is limited he also follows the same prophecies as we do, and knows the signs of the times. He like us does not know when it will be but he watches most intently. If he knew when the exact moment was he would try his best to wreak havoc and sabotage in any number of ways. God knows this adversary better than we ever will. So, like “a thief in the night” (2 Peter 3:10) Jesus keeps the surprise element to Himself. It is why Hal Lindsey calls it the “great snatch.”
He will “snatch” us out of harms’s way before pouring out His wrath upon those that have chosen to go Satan’s way.

Jesus compares this time right before the Rapture to be a time very much like the time of Noah. So, lets look at what the time of Noah was like before the great flood that covered the entire Earth killing every single living being who didn’t make it to the Ark.
Genesis 6: 1 Now it came about, when mankind began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them, 2 that the sons of God saw that the daughters of mankind were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose. 3 Then the LORD said, “My Spirit will not remain with man forever, because he is also flesh; nevertheless his days shall be 120 years.” 4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of mankind, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.(NASB)
In verse 3 of this Scripture God said He would allow 120 years for man’s life. I believe that this was the amount of time God allowed at this point for man to make a choice: repent of die. Many take it to be that at this point God shortened the life of human kind since until this point men lived for hundreds of years. There may be some merit to that but the reduction was actually very gradual, not immediate. There are those that think this was counted as the length of a generation of humankind. Again, while that is a possibility, it doesn’t take away from the understanding that when God said it, He meant a 120 yrs from this declaration the Earth would flood . Noah is called a “preacher of righteousness” (2 Peter 2:5). As a man who loved the Lord he also preached the message of repentence calling people to God. Noah tried to persuade them to turn from their wickedness. They didn’t!

Jesus saying that men continued to “eat, drink, marry and be given in marriage” is not about living life carefree, and without worries, it speaks of a rebellious and perverse heart. These feasts were not as ordinary as you might think, they were vile in the eyes of God because these involved worship and feasting before other gods. There is more:
Genesis 6: 1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.(KJV)
Marriages were taking place between the fallen-rebel-angels and human women!

Genesis 6: 4The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and afterward as well—when the sons of God had relations with the daughters of men. And they bore them children who became the mighty men of old, men of renown.(BSB)
The result were the Nephilim meaning “fallen ones.” These are also called giants in some versions, and known as Mighty men. “Giants” may explain their enormous size and might, but know that these were hybrid creatures, resulting from rebel angels having sex with human women. They are called fallen because they rebelled against God and this union was forbidden.

God had already designed woman for procreating with man. Only human men with human women could procreate and have human children (after their own kind) just as God created every other thing to do on Earth. Everything was created to reproduce after it’s own kind to ensure continuity of what God had designed and called perfect. There was no room for variation by crossing species in God’s plan for plants, birds, fish, land animals as well as humans. Crossing species messed with DNA which God had created perfectly for each of the species.
Furthermore after Satan deceived Eve, God promised that one day the seed of the woman would destroy the seed of Satan thus breaking the curse upon lost mankind. Satan knew anatomy as we do. He knew the woman had no seed, she provided the egg and the womb. So he would have surmised that in some way this seed would be different. It was! God Himself placed the Seed through His Holy Spirit in Mary:
Luke 1: 35 The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the Holy One to be born will be called the Son of God.(BSB)
If Satan managed to corrupt all mankind by mingling fallen angel seed with human seed, he could remove the possibility of that perfect human seed (the Savior) to be born, because the woman herself would be corrupted. The human DNA would be corrupted. The lineage of the Messiah would thus be defiled and His mission spoiled before it even began.
This is what made the days of Noah so bad that God could no longer look away. He had to intervene!
Genesis 6: 5 Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great upon the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was altogether evil all the time.(BSB)
The true wickedness was the unholy union producing hybrids that were forbidden. When the root is poisonous the fruit will also be poisonous. Wickedness begets wickedness. The culture of sin grows only when people tolerate it, giving assent to all manner of sin whether out of fear, lack of care, or glee. While it may be that not every human had contaminated DNA by mixing species, they had learned to approve and give assent to it. They were definitely contaminated mentally. They had bought the lie that it was okay to intermarry with other species aka “strange flesh.” The Nephilim or Giants were what the Bible calls “strange flesh.” It was a forbidden union.
In such a culture even today not many listen to sound warnings and preaching of the Word of God no matter how well it is presented. Those that do listen and turn to God will be saved and go up to heaven in the rapture, the rest . . . will stay behind and suffer immensely, most will lose their lives perhaps for all eternity.
There is such a thing we call “tolerance” today which demands everyone acquiesce to all that is wrong with popular culture. If you disagree with what is said to be “popular” . . . you are intolerant, and labeled “racist.” Today I see many Christians joining the general masses happily giving assent to all manner of sin with a smile and a wink.
God’s intervention was not just to pour out His wrath, it was to preserve perfect humankind as He had created it to be. DNA was never to be messed with. It was also necessary so that the Savior, His own Son could come at the right time as a perfect Human to live a perfectly sinless life in order to redeem fallen humans that were under the curse of sin.
Sounds complicated, but it really isn’t. Think about it!
Which one of you today would say that we are not in the days of Noah?
By now I have written about the convergence of signs a plenty. The Rapture is imminent. It is not God’s desire to let His own children perish or sufferHis wrath. Family matters to Him! His family is as important to Him as your’s is to you.
Jesus made it clear:
John 14: 1“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe in Me as well. 2 In My Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and welcome you into My presence, so that you also may be where I am.(BSB)
He will comeback for us! In the following Scripture He speaks of the Rapture being sudden and tells us to be encouraged knowing that He is coming.
rapture from prayandbeready
1 Thesselonians 5:1 Now about the times and seasons, brothers, we do not need to write to you. 2 For you are fully aware that the Day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, “Peace and security,” destruction will come upon them suddenly, like labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
But you, brothers, are not in the darkness so that this day should overtake you like a thief. 5 For you are all sons of the light and sons of the day; we do not belong to the night or to the darkness. 6 So then, let us not sleep as the others do, but let us remain awake and sober. 7 For those who sleep, sleep at night; and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. 8 But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and the helmet of our hope of salvation.
9 For God has not appointed us to suffer wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. 10 He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with Him. 11Therefore encourage and build one another up, just as you are already doing.(BSB)
He has no desire to have the godly go through the tribulation that He will send upon the ungodly, so He has promised that He will remove us (His children) before.
Question is: Will you be among us? All it takes is to ask Him to take you into His family. We are all adopted into it by faith and repentence!
