Proverbs1: 1The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel:

2To know wisdom and instruction,
To [a]perceive the words of understanding,
3To receive the instruction of wisdom,
Justice, judgment, and equity;
4To give prudence to the simple,
To the young man knowledge and discretion—
5A wise man will hear and increase learning,
And a man of understanding will [b]attain wise counsel,
6To understand a proverb and an enigma,
The words of the wise and their riddles.

7The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
But fools despise wisdom and instruction.(NKJV)

Proverbs 16: 24 Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.(NKJV)

I waited almost too long!

Thank you, sweet friends, for being so kind and patient. Today I just want to have a little heart to heart with you all to try and explain some things that people have wondered about at times.

It has been asked why I use so many pictures in my writings . . .

It has been asked why I use so much Scripture instead of just placing the Scripture reference . . .

It has been asked why my writings become so long . . .

“Your writings could be short and sweet, tiny morsels of the truth, in maneagable portions . . .  People don’t have the attention span to read such long articles, too many pictures distract . . .” according to some.

Perhaps they are right to question . . . for I see there are so very many writers who put out short clips of truth, I have seen and read . . . sometimes you need no more than a glance to read the message. I have liked many of these short messages and even shared them. Other prolific writers write long articles without any pictures, or maybe one or two at most. They also give a Scripture reference, often just chapter and verse number. . . these are good and well researched articles, I have read many and appreciated as well as learned from their insight. . . and then . . . there is my writing . . .  😏

Perhaps you also have questioned, so I will tell you why I write like I do. It may not seem like much but from my side, a lot goes into each article. I will not bore you with the process, but the emphasis is on a Worldwide audience. Which means All peoples, All, nations, All races, and All languages. Generally in writing one has to have a target audience, and you might say mine is super broad. While it is impossible to truly be able to include everyone in any article, my goal is to reach as many as possible.

I am just little me, no publishing company, no big donors, just a “little voice” in the world among the 7+Billion people.

Some have asked me to translate in their native language because they do not know English.

I have no means to translate to every language so I use pictures to assist. Where words fail, sometimes a picture  can speak a thousand words and express my heart as well as the heart of God, which after all is the whole purpose.  I wonder at times what you see on your end when you read my blog translated automatically by your computer since in my experience translating something on the computer into another language has proven less than perfect. So I am so very grateful to all the wonderful photographers who make their work available, and free of charge at that, so people like me can use their pictures and artwork. Their generosity in sharing their gift makes me be able to share mine.

My friend, may I make a suggestion? If you find there is interest in your family, friends or community, please see if you can have a group together and have one english speaking person translate for all. Use my writings as a sharing opportunity. I know of some here in the USA that use it for a Bible Study, you can do the same.

Truly, I just end up praying and asking God’s help to get the message understood as He wishes it to get across.

The reason I actually use so much Scripture is, yes, because I want you to read it. Around the World, many, perhaps most people do not have a Bible handy to refer to at a moments notice. So, if I refer to something from the Bible, it seems only right that you should be able to have it in front of you.

Sometimes people say things like: Preachers, Evangelists, Teachers do it just for getting money.

Well, I do think that is erroneous thinking. While I do not know the heart of every evangelist, preacher, or teacher, I do know God’s heart who calls people to take His message abroad.

To be honest, in the last forty-five years of following Christ I have met, worked with and been friends with far too many Pearchers, Evangelists and Teachers that have worked in the Ministry with far too little compensation. I know many that have and continue to serve sacrificially, even holding two or three jobs, working long hours to make ends meet just so they can faithfully serve their congregations without being a burden to anyone.  They are available to any who need at whatever hour the need arises, at personal cost even to their own families.

Yes, there are some who are wealthy, but wealthy or poor or anything in between, the message they bring is what counts. Our Lord Himself gave up the riches of Heaven to come to earth in human form just so we could have the Good News of Salvation. He taught sacrifice, it cost Him everything . So, money is hardly a motivator to get into Ministry.

Nonetheless . . . my purpose is not to defend or incriminate anyone else at this point.

I can only tell you with all sincerity, my little website and I are not paid by anyone of you . . . it is ONLY a family operation. I charge no one for giving them my writings. Funny, there is a GIVE button on my Homepage, yet no one has ever used it in over two years. I only have family members that help with the cost. Their blessing remains with God.

This is all of my team, my children (with me on the left above) and a precious sister in Christ in the picture below.

So, everything you get is sent to you, entirely free, and with full blessing. I know full well that I am an infinitesimally tiny voice in the din of this HUGE world, and sitting in my home I marvel that I can do this at all and reach so many people all around the world. On the other hand I wonder if this will make a difference to anyone at all. For the latter, your Amens and comments help.

The Prophet Isaiah wrote:

Isaiah 52: 7 How beautiful upon the mountains
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who proclaims peace,
Who brings glad tidings of good things,
Who proclaims salvation,
Who says to Zion,
“Your God reigns!”(NKJV)

The message I bring is not on foot, yet today, with the marvelous technology of the internet I can bring you this good news and glad tidings sitting hundreds and even thousands of miles away.

Here is another thing that you should know. I have chosen to not say anything in response to your comments other than just pushing the “Like” button. A couple of rare exceptions perhaps, but as a rule, I do not respond and engage. I do love your comments, but there is a reason for for not responding. The mission given by God has been clear, I am to write, not engage in debate or long discussions. It is better for me to leave the information with you to mull over, and come to your own conclusions with God, than  to engage with me living on a different Continent/Country/State.

Also, this way, if you do not like what I have to say, you owe nothing, it was given to you freely, freely you can refuse. No harm done, and no offense given or taken.

Truth is, you are a free entity just as I am, God has never forced a choice on anyone in History. So, if He has given you a free will and provided the information but left the choice to you, who am I???

In this world we will probably never meet, but perhaps in Heaven we can greet each other as brothers and sisters. That is what encourages me to write . . . I look forward to meeting you in His presence . . . you will be there, won’t you????
